Marketing Manager

Fast Web Media is inviting a determined and collaborative Marketing Manager to play a vital role within the Sales and Marketing team of this Manchester based digital marketing agency with over 20 years’ experience in the industry. You will work very closely with the Head of New Business Development to ensure all marketing strategy and activity is focused, analysed and measured to drive ROI and strong partner relationships with clients.

You will be responsible for developing a very robust marketing funnel, attracting and nurturing new contacts into sales qualified leads and ensuring that we continue to delight, educate, retain and grow our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with and assisting the Head of New Business Development to create and retain new business through inbound and account based marketing
  • Developing the marketing strategy alongside the Head of New Business in line with company objectives
  • Onboarding a new Marketing Automation Platform - owning and driving a personalised nurture process to develop sales qualified leads
  • Assisting in the development of the new sales & marketing plan and strategies for 2018
  • Executing all marketing activity following a process of plan, create, distribute, analyse and iterate to ensure continual improvements are made
  • Assisting in the identification of specific target audiences and their individual needs
  • Developing relevant, conversion led marketing collateral for target audiences ensuring the content and format is appropriate to each stage of the buyer journey to reach, educate, convert and nurture potential clients
  • Managing all marketing channels for Fast Web Media and organising the necessary activities within the marketing department
  • Email marketing automation including segmentation, branching, action based nurture workflows and testing
  • Collaborating with internal specialists including search and technical teams.
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget
  • Liaising with third parties such as our PR agency, Bloggers & Journalists to promote content in line with business objectives
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns through A/B or multivariant testing and continual iteration
  • Build, monitor, analyse and iterate landing pages, forms, CTA’s and personalisation
  • Measure, analyse and report and improve marketing results utilising Google & MAP analytics
  • Measure, analyse and report website performance through quantitative and qualitative analysis with suggested improvements and testing ideas for conversion rate optimisation
  • Brand management and corporate identity
  • Deliver against specific KPI’s and objectives
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Analyse, suggest and help develop potential strategic partner relationships

Key Skills

  • At least 3 years’ Digital Marketing experience
  • Fluent in English both spoken & written
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics or GA Qualified
  • Working knowledge of Adwords or Adwords Qualified
  • Experience of using Marketing Automation Platforms or very keen understanding of their workings and capabilities
  • Intuitive understanding of the buyer journey
  • Keen sense of real human led user journey’s and UX
  • Strong focus on Conversion Rate Optimisation and ROI
  • A passion for all things digital
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and keen to bring ideas to the table
  • Work well under pressure and to deadlines
  • Be reliable, dedicated and work to task
  • Understanding of Content Management systems, web development, UX, search marketing and sales processes

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level, preferably marketing related
  • Knowledge of esports sector
  • Fluency in other European languages
